Boat Name: Stop Work Order Make/Model: Gulfstar 60 Mark I Price: $240,000 USD Year Built: 1982 HIN: GFS06012M82G Registration: #838210
Overview Stop Work Order is one of twelve production class, semi-custom built, molded fiberglass sailing vessels designed by Dick and Vince Lazzara and built at Gulfstar Inc. in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Originally built as a long-range cruiser, this 60-footer has a large center cockpit that is both safe and comfortable at sea and at anchor. The spacious interior, ample storage and onboard equipment allow for extended travel, far from the amenities of big cities, affording its current owners 3 months of island exploring between provisioning stops. The open salon and huge deck space make this boat great for entertaining, lounging and long-distance travel.
Forward V-Berth Cabin The accommodation on this yacht is spacious and extremely comfortable with a four cabin, three head layout. The air-conditioned forward cabin has a large V- berth which will comfortably sleep two adults. There is a vanity with drawers, sink with hot and cold water, with louvered lockers to starboard and hanging locker to port. There are three drawers in the berth itself, and a folding step on the starboard side. A flat screen tv is mounted on the port aft bulkhead.
Forward Cabin Aft of the forward cabin to port side is an air-conditioned cabin with an upper and lower berth which pulls out to form a double. A full-length mirror hangs on the aft bulkhead and storage spaces include a hanging locker on the forward bulkhead, cupboards at the foot of each berth and two drawers under the bottom bunk. Opposite this cabin is the forward head with sink, Raritan electric head, and ample storage.
Galley/Salon From the companionway the L-shaped galley is to port with excellent counter space and galley storage including a triple stainless-steel sink, a gimbaled three-burner Princess propane stove and oven, microwave oven, a top loading freezer, large upper and lower front-loading refrigerators.
The air-conditioned salon has a very large U-shaped settee/dinette with a beautiful drop leaf table with built-in storage. To starboard is a large settee and the bar area with a flat screen TV.
Immediately to starboard of the companionway is a large navigation station with flush mounted navigational electronics, communication equipment and al large chart table with ample storage. Behind the flip-up companionway stairs is a large access door to the walk-in engine and mechanical room, as well as an easy access hatch to the generator and battery bank space.
Aft Cabin Moving aft through the passageway which contains a large panty and two storage cabinets, is the aft guest cabin and the owner's cabin. The air-conditioned guest cabin to starboard has a single lower berth which pulls out to convert to a double, and an upper berth that folds down out of the wall when needed. A full-length mirror hangs on the aft bulkhead and a closet, cabinet and three drawers under the bunk provide more than enough storage space. There is a private ensuite forward with a sink, shower, and Raritan electric head
Master Cabin The owner's cabin has a centerline queen berth that has been extended to allow for a tall owner. There is a large and a medium size hanging locker alongside the starboard side of the cabin and shelving and storage compartments extending to the aft. The port side has a full chest of drawers as well as shelving and storage compartments extending to the aft of the cabin. The underside of the bed contains a large storage area as well. A flat screen tv is mounted on the forward bulkhead. The private ensuite has a large shower with a moulded seat as well as a sink and Raritan electric head.
